What are the coverage areas for the delivery service?
We deliver flowers local, National and international. Simply order with Flowerworks leave the rest to us.
What time will my flowers be delivered?
We are unable to guarantee delivery times on normal orders. All orders are delivered during the working day (between 9am and 8pm), Funerals are the exception when we will endeavour to deliver at least one hour before the funeral time. We do offer timed deliveries, unless via prior arrangement for Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Easter.
Can I have delivery within a few hours?
In some cases this may be possible i.e. within a three hour time frame at an extra cost in the UK only, excluding Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Easter. Please call our sales office direct 0116 262 4917 for a timed delivery
Delivery locations in UK and Ireland ?
Flowerworks are members of the UK’s best known florist relay organisation and flowers are delivered by local florist member shops across the UK and Ireland. All orders are guaranteed. There are a very small minority of locations that have no local cover and such places are classed as ‘non-delivery areas’. In the event that your chosen delivery location is not covered(which is very rare in UK) we will contact you and offer you a voucher(gift voucher) that you (or we could) post to the recipient so he/she could use it to purchase in the Interflora shop in their nearest town.If you order is in a ‘non-delivery area’ we will notify you as soon as possible. If the recipient is out when delivery is made what happens?? If the recipient is not at home when the driver calls we will leave your order with a neighbour and post a calling card to let the recipient know where the flowers have been left.. If there are no neighbours to leave you order with, a card will be posted at recipient address with the phone number of the local delivering florist for the recipient to re arrange delivery.
What if the delivery is to a work address, a hospital ,or hotel i.e. a third party delivery?
If your order is for delivery to a non residential address please try to provide as much information as possible. Please include the business name,department,hospital ward,hotel room numbers etc. Also please give if possible the recipients mobile phone number. Sundays and Bank Holidays? There is no delivery service on Sundays and bank Holidays. Mothers day is the only Sunday that we have a delivery service. Orders received for delivery on Sunday or Bank Holiday will automatically be processed for delivery on the next working day. In some locations special delivery can be organised with a few days notice for Sunday delivery but this is very limited please call our sales office 0116 262 4917 for further help.
Can I track my delivery?
Unfortunately at the present time this is not possible. If there is any doubt about delivery please contact our sales office who will try to get confirmation of delivery.
Peak trading Days i.e. Valentines Day, Mothers day,Christmas
For Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and other special dates where traditionally flowers are in big demand, please submit your order at least two days in advance to guarantee the availability of stocks. Special arrangements have to be made with us to accommodate orders for deliveries on public holidays and/or Sundays, Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Easter.
